Joe Stefanelli and Sasson Soffer are two world renowned artists who not only live up to that description but who have also shared a connection to East Hampton through Joe s studio paintings and Sasson s sculpture park.
The duo continued, Joe, originally from Philadelphia, was part of the New York School of abstract expressionists showing with Pollack and de Kooning. Sasson, originally from Baghdad, came to NY to study with sculptor Jose de Rivera and painter Mark Rothko. Sasson lived to 84, Joe to 96.

LOCK HAVEN Donald Lee Adams, Jr., 42, previously of Clinton County, was captured in the morning of March 5, 2021 in a cabin in the mountains of Kentucky. Adams was located and taken into custody by members of the Kentucky State Police and the U.S. Marshall’s Office.
Officers breached the front door of the cabin and located Adams. At the time, officers report that Adams had so many guns that they referred to it as “an arsenal”. There is currently an investigation into the weapons that were located. It is also unclear at this time as to whom the cabin belongs.
