Members of the Satellite of West Bay Rotary began a project for Camden’s Parks and Recreation Department, sanding and painting picnic tables at the Village Green, Harbor Park, Town Landing and Laite Beach Sunday, May 9.
Participating on Sunday included Chair J.P. Fecteau, Vice Chair Peter Lindquist, Past Chair Abe Dugal, Anna and Everett Dugal, and members Sarah Ruef-Lindquist and Heidi Karod.
The town provided the materials and the Satellite is providing the volunteer labor to spruce up the picnic tables around town in various parks.

The Maine Department of Transportation has announced its work plan for the next three years. The plan includes all capital projects and programs, maintenance and operations activities, planning initiatives, and administrative functions. This plan contains 2,180 work items with a total value of $2.71 billion. The following projects are scheduled for Lincoln County for 2021.
In Wiscasset, there are two projects for Wiscasset Municipal Airport. An aviation, runway/taxiway, reconstruction project is for safety and infrastructure improvements which include acquisition for snow removal equipment. Estimated project cost is $361,000.
