Ridgefield Rotary Announces Raffle Winners!

Written by Joe Savino Ridgefield Rotary Thanks Ridgefield for Supporting RRRESTAFFLE and Announces Winners  This year, due to COVID-19 we are not able to have The Taste of Ridgefield. Rotary wanted to help Ridgefield restaurants during this difficult time and raise money to support our RHS Scholarship and Town Grants to organizations that make Ridgefield such a wonderful place to live. In its place we created RRRESTAFFLE. Thanks to Ridgefielders support, the RRRESTAFFLE was a tremendous success and netted nearly $30,000 to support the RHS Scholarship and other non-profits that make Ridgefield the great town that it is. On January 1, 2021, Rudy Marconi drew the following winners:

Ridgefield Rotary Raffle Supports Local Businesses Most in Need this Holiday Season!

Written by Rich Vazzana The Taste of Ridgefield has been an event in past years that builds business for participants while raising funds for the Ridgefield Rotary High School Scholarship Program, a program to help local high school students go to a college of their dreams and Rotary’s Community grants to non-profit organizations. This one fundraiser accounts for roughly 80% of the total funds raised each year by the Rotary to support the Ridgefield community Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Taste of Ridgefield, unfortunately, had to be canceled. In its place, Ridgefield Rotary has pivoted to an online raffle that will help struggling local restaurants by raffling off gift certificates to them. Local restaurants will be paid for the gift certificates given away in the raffle, a much-needed helping hand for these hard-hit local businesses.
