Self-proclaimed Hindu rights activist Kajal allegedly delivered a provocative speech that incited hatred and communal tension during a rally on February 26 in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. In another case, Kajal was arrested on April 9 in Gujarat for allegedly making a hate speech at Una town.
She cannot enter Gir Somnath district till the trial is concluded and has to mark her presence at the nearest police station on the first and 16th of every month till the investigation is complete.
On the other hand, Akhil Bharatiya Brahmin Samaj president Pt Surendra Chaturvedi and general secretary Tarun Upadhyay issued a joint press statement regarding the incident at JNU University in Delhi
