A recreation project in Davidson County will benefit from one of 17 grants announced Thursday by the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.

The Dispatch The Yadkin River Park got a little help from their friends with a recent $150,000 donation to go towards improvements at the park. The Davidson County Commissioners donated $50,000 with a matching grant from Friends of Rowan to Tourism Recreation Investment Partnership in Davidson County for improvements to Yadkin River Park.
