LOOK BACK: Filipina beauty queens and the Miss International crown Jul 7, 2021 7:55 AM PHT Among the international beauty pageants (and so-called “big four” pageants for women), it’s Miss International where Filipino beauty queens have always shone brightest.  The Philippines has placed in the semis several times in the history of the Japan-based pageant. In the 10 years between 2011 and 2021, two Filipinas have prevailed to win the iconic Miss International crown.  The Philippines is home to six Miss Internationals (five of them, representatives crowned by Binibining Pilipinas), with the most recent being model and actress Kylie Versoza, who won the crown in 2016.
