Vet Fest Lake County gifted checks to organizations, aid veterans

EUSTIS  Vet Fest Lake County Committee members met last week at a Eustis City Commission meeting to present three donation checks from funds raised through the 2nd Annual Vet Fest Lake County event. During the Thursday meeting, City Events and Tourism Manager Erin Bailey spoke to commissioners about the event, a family friendly, 3-day event to show support for active military, veterans, first-responders and their families.  During this event, we had a wonderful veterans parade that ran down Eustis Street into Ferran Park, Bailey said.  We had an amazing gala, and we raised quite a bit of money. Even during this pandemic, people were very generous, and we re able to, in turn, be generous as well from the Vet Fest Committee.
