Though
was always a show about the Avengers’ Sokovian juggernaut confronting the stifling grief that’s been plaguing her since she first showed up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the series was also the world’s introduction to Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau, the now-adult daughter of Maria Rambeau who first appeared in
Captain Marvel. The promise of her role loomed large over the Disney+ series, but by the end, it turned Monica’s second debut into a haphazard crash landing that’ll be hard to shake off for the comics’ first female Captain Marvel.

Each of the sitcom-inspired episodes of “WandaVision” has included commercials alluding to past events from the Marvel Cinematic Universe or hinting at ideas from Marvel comic books. (That these clues come in the form of commercials is a little suspect, though. Wanda’s exposure to TV sitcoms seems to have come predominantly from DVD boxed sets, which generally don’t involve commercial breaks.)
All signs point to a big showdown and new revelations in Friday’s “WandaVision” finale. Until then, here’s a breakdown of the key references contained in each of the show’s fake commercials.

The final stretch of
WandaVision begins here! For the fifth straight week, the hit Disney+ series released an episode. This time around, Marvel Studios unveiled All-New Halloween Spooktacular! to the masses, finally reintroducing Pietro Maximoff (Evan Peters) to the masses once again.
Though the buzz around social media has been real especially in light of Pietro s return the sixth episode didn t manage to debut atop our list. It did, however, come in second after surveying ComicBook.com staff members causing a seismic shift with other episodes on the list.
