U.S. Department of Labor announces YouthBuild Program 105SHARES The Employment and Training Administration (ETA), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), announces the availability of approximately $89 million in grant funds authorized by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) (Pub. L. 113-128) for YouthBuild. The purpose of this program is to fund organizations to provide a pre-apprenticeship program model that encompasses education, occupational skills training, leadership development, and post-program placement opportunities to at-risk youth. YouthBuild is a community-based alternative education program for youth between the ages of 16 and 24 who are high school dropouts that also have other risk factors, including being adjudicated youth, youth ageing out of foster care, youth with disabilities, migrant farmworker youth, and other disadvantaged youth populations.

Objectives PEPFAR Kenya has allocated support for CSO’s to routinely collect patient- and provider-level data related to the quality of services provided at the site level in three categories of counties (evolved, scale-up, and reboot). Objectives PEPFAR Kenya has allocated support under CGI component #2 for CSOs to routinely collect patient- and provider-level data related to the quality of services provided at the site level in the three categories of counties (evolved, scale-up, and reboot). Proposed Counties: Makueni, Kilifi, and Homabay.
