But no one was yet working on how big data would or would not transform the criminal Justice System. Id had a longstanding interest in the criminal Justice System and i started to ask, how are the police, courts, corrections, leveraging things like predictive algorithms and how is it changing daily operations . I quickly realized there was not actually ironically very good data,n police use of big and thats when i decided to pursue an ethnographic study on that question.
