Edward T. “Ed” Simpson, 79, of Brilliant, OH, passed away peacefully Monday April 12, 2021 at home.
He was born May 1, 1941 in Waynesburg, OH, a son of the late Bernard and Dorothy (Owens) Simpson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Douglas S. Simpson; and a brother, Franklin Simpson.
Ed is survived by his wife of 56 years, Vivian (Burge) Simpson, whom he married on November 28, 1964; and a son, Ryan Simpson of Mingo Junction, OH.
Ed retired in 2001 out of Ironworkers Local #549 in Wheeling, WV. He was a SCR project coordinator for two years at the Brilliant Cardinal Plant.
