Officials just reopened that intersection about an hour ago, but this is a crosswalk where the 70yearold woman was crossing when she was struck by a vehicle coming westbound here on channing way. The driver of that vehicle driving a city car. He or she was a city worker. When they failed to see the woman, hitting her, eventually killing her.
