Newmarket GAA had reason to celebrate a momentous season in addition to taking a trip down memory lane with a special night of celebration in the Killarney Avenue Hotel.
With pandemic restrictions continuing through February, Duhallow GAA clubs are again mobilising teams or supporting task forces that are reaching out to the elderly and needy in their communities during these unprecedented times.
Duhallow Junior Board Secretary Tony McAulliffe applauded the efforts of clubs on responding positively on coming up with ideas and offers to help their communities. There is no action on the fields yet clubs provide safe support to those in self-isolation and other vulnerable members of our communities and maintain that vital contact we all need in difficult times. For everybody it s so important to stop, look and listen to all of the advice of the authorities on how we can beat this virus , he said.
