Basically intoxicated, he was shooting off rounds to keep them at bay and jerry dean callahan served nearly 20 years in prison and got out. He was recently picked up again by Law Enforcement on some minor charge in the 1984 swat standoff charges showed up. Callahan was once again behind bars. The biggest issues, jerry dean callahan, on allegations he shot at the Police Officers. He never got it. For 20 years, hes been in the state penal system after it occurred. We knew where he was. And it could have been brought at that point in time. He could have faced him at that point in time. The court would have likely dismissed the charges because of the violation of a speedy trial he was picked up on this much lesser charge and quite frankly, was. When the Police Officer ran him, after they found the 1984 time. And thats when the bells and whistles went off. Hes still in the claremont county jail here.
