Article content The other mayoral candidates who intend to run include Cheryll Watson, the former head of Innovate Edmonton, and Diana Steele, president of the Crestwood Community League. As of Friday, Watson is the only mayoral candidate listed on the city’s website. Mayor Don Iveson announced in November that he would not be seeking re-election in October. Councillors Michael Walters and Scott McKeen have also announced they would not be running again. Councillors Sarah Hamilton, Jon Dziadyk, Bev Esslinger, Tim Cartmell and Tony Caterina have all said they would be seeking re-election. Councillors Andrew Knack, Mohinder Banga, Ben Henderson and Aaron Paquette have yet to announce a decision.
