this is aljazeera america. good morning, live from new york city, i m randall pinkston. friends and family are remembering two killed live on television and we re learning what drove the alleged gunman to violence. the two were reporting live when a former colleague opened fire. flanagan later shot himself after posting images of the attack on social media. al jazeera s choosing not to show those images. flanagans twitter and facebook pages were filled to outrage aimed at his former employer. police say the gunman left behind a manifesto. in this bizarre manifesto that arrived by fax two hours after the shooting here at the bridgewater plaza, lee flanagan talks about himself as being a human powder keg, full of anger about things like the charlotte shootings in july in south carolina, after which he bought his weapons, he says, two days after that incident. he said he s also inspired by the columbine shooter back in $19.99 in which 12 people died, including one teacher. v
