Eight different Seminoles accounted for 10 hits while the pitching staff led by Bryce Hubbart struck out 15. 2022 Baseball Media Center Coming off his first ACC Pitcher of the Week honor, Hubbart struck out nine in six innings against Samford. Hubbart is now 2-0 on the season and 8-6 all-time. Sophomore Wyatt Crowell entered in relief of Hubbart for two innings and struck out four. Zeros were a crooked number in Thursday night s Central Piedmont 4A baseball game between Reagan and East Forsyth.
The host Raiders ranked No. 1 in the west in HighSchoolOT s preseason poll quickly found themselves down 7-0 at the end of the top of the first. And yet, Reagan rallied to score 17 runs in the bottom of the first, en route to an explosive 27-11 win via mercy rule in five innings.
The Raiders (7-1, 6-0) combined for 19 total hits and got production from top to bottom. All nine batters registered at least one hit and one run scored, and eight of the nine had at least one RBI.

Kernersville, N.C. Left-handed pitcher Josh Hartle threw a complete game shutout as his top-ranked Reagan Raiders beat the East Forsyth Eagles 5-0 on the road on Tuesday night.
The win broke a tie between the two teams atop the Central Piedmont 4A conference, with both squads bringing unbeaten conference records into the contest.
Hartle, a Wake Forest signee and likely MLB Draft pick this July, worked through some command issues in the first inning before settling in and dominating the rest of the way.
