Kernersville, N.C. — Left-handed pitcher Josh Hartle threw a complete game shutout as his top-ranked Reagan Raiders beat the East Forsyth Eagles 5-0 on the road on Tuesday night.
The win broke a tie between the two teams atop the Central Piedmont 4A conference, with both squads bringing unbeaten conference records into the contest.
Hartle, a Wake Forest signee and likely MLB Draft pick this July, worked through some command issues in the first inning before settling in and dominating the rest of the way.
