Morris NJ sheriff, corrections officers get probation on drug charges

NorthJersey.com Four former Morris County law enforcement officers received sentences of probation on Thursday for their roles in a conspiracy to buy and share cocaine and other narcotics with one another.  The group’s transgressions involved drug deliveries in the parking lot of the Morris County jail, where some of the men worked as corrections officers. Two officers also admitted to using a computer database at the jail to snoop on the county’s investigation against them, authorities said.  Officers Dominick Andico, Robert Busold and Albert Wyman  who later resigned as corrections officers each received three years of probation during a virtual hearing in state Superior Court on Thursday. Nicholas Ricciotti, 32, a sheriff’s officer, got two years probation.
