Locker rooms at the Plano Aquatic Center are being opened up for any resident to use as burst pipes mean many remain without water despite the warming temperatures.
Plano residents without water can now take free showers at three city recreation centers.
The announcement comes after thousands of residents in the city lost power during the recent winter storms and frigid temperatures and many residents now have no water due to burst pipes.
Residents can use showers at the Carpenter Park and Tom Muehlenbeck recreation centers, and the Plano Aquatic Center.
