Tipperary GAA has been saddened by the death of one of its former hurling stars, Tom McLoughney.

In addition, Tom claimed three Munster SHC medals in 1960, 61 and 62, two National Leagues, 1959/60 and 60/61, coming on as a substitute in the 62/63 Home Final against eventual winners Waterford and added two Oireachtas trophies to his list.
