One of my favourite games of all time, from 1989.
The Blue Jays beat the Red Sox 13-11 in 12 innings.
It was a fantastic game. After six innings, it was 10-0 Red Sox.

Duane Ward turns 59 today.
Duane is number 2 on the Blue Jays’ all-time saves list. Jordan Romano is seventh on the list at 72. He’d need to play a couple more full seasons as our closer to catch.
There might not be a more pressure-packed position in all of Major League Baseball than the closer. His time on the diamond is rather brief, but highly crucial.
Some eighth graders in Albany learned some life saving skills in school Thursday from firefighters. This is the sixth year of the CPR training program.
