LOLO, MT â These firefighters have traveled from California to fight the wildfires in Lolo National Forest along the Idaho and Montana border. But what does their day look like? It starts at 6 a.m. and ends when the publicâs questions are answered, and everyone is safe. âWe re just trying to get that information about the buyer out there because we know that the public is being affected and we want to make sure that they have as much information as they need,â Alison Batchelder, public information officer for F CAIIM Team 15 and a firefighter, said.

California Incident Management Team (CAIIMT) 15 has been sent to fight the fire in the Lolo National Forest.

LOLO â The Granite Pass Complex fire started over a week ago and has burned 1,700 acres with 0% containment in the area of Lolo Pass.
California Incident Management Team (CAIIMT) 15 has been sent to fight the fire in the Lolo National Forest. Their strategy? A full suppression strategy by surrounding the fire while keeping everyone safe.
âSo right now we re looking at a strategy to where we can put ourselves in a better position to box this fire in with minimal damage to structures to life to property and impact to Highway 12,â said CAIIMT 15 Public Information Officer Tom Stokesberry.
