Exactly what took place. Horrible accident. A San Mateo County sheriffs car accidentally hit a pedestrian in san bruno sending that woman to the hospital. Happened near the intersection of san mateo and san bruno avenues just before 11 a. M. Witnesses say the sheriffs vehicle was making a left turn when it hit the woman who was in the crosswalk. The gas station owner on the corner said he heard it all happen. Had a big impact. And looked up and the lady was on the ground. Surveillance video captured the impact. Difficult to see but look past the white car at the gas pump. That is the sheriffs car turning left at the intersection. The womans condition is not yet known.
