bret: but breaking tonight, there are growing questions about the biden administration s policy on china. while the president talks tough, critics say president biden appears to be taking a kid glove approach in several key areas. we have fox team coverage. jennifer griffin is at the pentagon. looks at how the american military is preparing for a conflicted with beijing possibly. we begin hour with white house correspondent peter doocy on the white house s north lawn and the president s reluctance to push china too hard. that s exactly right officials are putting out the word they are not trying to beat china economically or at anything. but they are trying to make things more competitive with china by taking some pieces off the board. mr. president, welcome. peter: as mr. biden talks colombia. key to the hemisphere. peter: and climate change. we are at a moment of great peril but great opportunities. treasury secretary teasing a move to move u.s. business to

lost its mojo, that they ve blown a historic midterm opportunity, that all because their primary winners were just terrible. you do have republican nominating, shall we say, flawed candidates. herschel walker in georgia, j.d. vance in in in ohio, dr. oz in in pennsylvania. what looked like a wipeout for democrats in the fall is maybe not going to be so bad because of the candidates. republicans are nominating. walker can lose ause, can lose, johnson can lose their bad candidates so smug and so wrong. liberal super pacs even helped boost the so-called election, denying republicans the primaries with the thought that they d be easier to defeat in the general elections. well, even our own senate minority leader joined the pig pile against his own party, trying to tamp down his party s expectations by blaming the populace. the maga folks. there s probably a greater likelihood the house flips than some senate races are just different or statewide. candidate quality has
and that. is it a cartoon or is it congress? the seemingly endless lies from congressman elect george santos could be catching up with him. the embattled republican under investigation by the feds and his state with just six days until he is scheduled to be sworn in to office. the clock is ticking. santos vows he s going to take his seat in the house. the plan is being met by resistance. democrats and some republicans are questioning his legitimacy. santos has some defenders. they argue plenty of d.c. politicians have been caught telling very tall tales. welcome back as america report goes on. anita, i m gillian turner. we ll ask who santos should do. we begin with southwest airlines facing major backlash from its own pilots. at the end of the day, southwest wasn t prepared. unfortunately, this has been a decade in the making. we ve sounded alarm bells and tried to get them to change processes. nobody has reached out to inform us to what s going on, even the recov
