This is breaking a lot of hearts here at Bosse, Athletic Director Tom Bealmear said.
Bealmear recalled the former wide receiver s positive energy. He would go out of his way to say hello to me and high five. He had that kind of spirit around everybody. He lifted their spirits, Bealmear said. He was positive. He was a good guy.
Nykara Dixon, who also graduated from Bosse in 2020 and was pictured with him in that homecoming picture, recalled how Toone was always smiling and polite when she saw him after graduation. The two were on Bosse s football homecoming court together in 2019.
