TOLLAND, CT Utility workers at Eversource Energy s Tolland work center received their first doses of the cornavirus vaccine Wednesday as part of the town of Vernon s Getting Vax to Business program. The work center on Tolland Stage Road serves north-central Connecticut and beyond. It s one of a dozen Eversource operates throughout the sate. Eversource spokesman Mitch Gross said about 30 had signed up for the Moderna vaccines. The workers remanded from line workers to meter readers to meter technicians to flaggers to maintenance workers to those operating the storerooms, Gross said.
