Kihevi Zhimo wins 3rd Snooker Ranking Tournament

KOHIMA Kihevi Zhimo of Boulevard Snooker Club, Dimapur, emerged as champion of the 3rd Snooker Ranking Tournament organised by Cue Association of Nagaland (CAN) at Baulkline Club, Kohima. In the final, Zhimo defeated another Boulevard player Togukha Chishi in straight two frames. Zhimo received a cash prize of INR 20,000 with trophy while got INR 10,000. He also bagged the highest break point award of INR 6,000. Two semi-finalists Temjenlemba Longchar of Area 51 Kohima and Rukusato Khesoh of Area 147 Kohima, received INR 5,000 each. The tournament was held on April 21 and the 22nd with 32 players from five clubs of Dimapur and Kohima. Gracing the closing ceremony, Advisor to Chief Minister and Chairman of Nagaland Khadi & Village Industries Board, Dr. Neiphrezo Keditsu said snooker is slowly picking up in the state. Kihevi Zhimomi wins Champion of Champions snooker tournament

Our Correspondent Kohima, Nov. 14 (EMN): Kihevi Zhimomi defeated Togukha Chishi in the final of the 2nd edition of “Champion of Champions” snooker tournament presented by Cue Association of Nagaland on November 12 evening at Boulevard Club Dimapur. Winning the title, Zhimomi won a cash award of INR 20,000 and also the overall champion reward of another INR 20,000. In addition, the winner also won the highest break point award of INR 6,000. His opponent, Chishi received INR 10,000 as the runner-up while semifinalists Kezhavituo Vizo and Temjenlemba Longchar pocketed INR 5,000 each.
