KOHIMA Kihevi Zhimo of Boulevard Snooker Club, Dimapur, emerged as champion of the 3rd Snooker Ranking Tournament organised by Cue Association of Nagaland (CAN) at Baulkline Club, Kohima. In the final, Zhimo defeated another Boulevard player Togukha Chishi in straight two frames. Zhimo received a cash prize of INR 20,000 with trophy while got INR 10,000. He also bagged the highest break point award of INR 6,000. Two semi-finalists Temjenlemba Longchar of Area 51 Kohima and Rukusato Khesoh of Area 147 Kohima, received INR 5,000 each. The tournament was held on April 21 and the 22nd with 32 players from five clubs of Dimapur and Kohima. Gracing the closing ceremony, Advisor to Chief Minister and Chairman of Nagaland Khadi & Village Industries Board, Dr. Neiphrezo Keditsu said snooker is slowly picking up in the state. Our Correspondent Kohima, July 24 (EMN): Neitho Chadi of Club Area 51 Kohima defeated Tokugha Chishi from Boulevard Club Dimapur with straight-three frames in the final to emerge as the champion of the second edition of ‘Master of Masters’ at Baulkline Club Kohima on July 23. Winning the prestigious snooker ranking event on Saturday night, Chadi fetched INR 20,000 while Chishi received INR 10,000 as the runner-up. In addition, Chadi also received the highest break point award of INR 6,000. He scored 37 points during his semi-final match to win the prize. Both semifinalists — Kezhavituo Vizo of Club 147 Kohima and Hokivi Chophi from Boulevard Club Dimap also received INR 5,000 each.
