Have Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson Run Their Course Together?
In a somewhat disturbing RT (retweet) by Jake Heaps yesterday (January 25), the speculation that Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll and star Quarterback Russell Wilson are not on the same page or of the same offensive philosophy were confirmed sort of by Wide Receiver D.K. Metcalf (see: below).
Heaps, Wilson s self-proclaimed personal quarterback guru , has been somewhat critical of Carroll s unwillingness to Let Russ Cook and move away from his preference to establish the running game. That notion was, at least, echoed in the video of Metcalf when he was asked, What happened to the Seahawks [in 2020]? Metcalf responded with, Teams just started to figure us out and went on to say that all they did was run the ball, run the ball, run the ball, go deep.

If I ve seen it once, I ve seen it a hundred times. Sitting in the left-hand turn lane, facing East, at the intersection of 40th Avenue and Summitview Avenue, the vehicle directly in front of me had a flashing yellow arrow inviting the driver to PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
Heck, we learned that in the form of a rhyme in elementary school! Do you recall this: Red means no, green means go, yellow means wait even if you re late!

One of the 10 Best Beer Festivals in the Nation is, tentatively, moving forward with putting on their annual event. It is scheduled, for now, to occur on Saturday, October 2nd in its new location at the old Track 29 location just off of Yakima Avenue in the heart of downtown.

When I see others bitchin and moanin about how awful other motorists are, I am immediately reminded of a classic bit by the late, comedic genius George Carlin who once said, basically, that anyone who doesn t drive exactly like you. sucks.
I cannot say for sure if our driving here in Yakima is abjectly better or worse than any other Smalltown, USA and I normally do not get to terribly irritated when being the wheel (Well, there is that ONE thing.), but according to a recent study by our awesome peeps at WalletHub.com, we Washingtonians live in the THIRD WORST state to drive in out of all 50!
