Show Transcript STACEY: ANOTHER ARREST HAS BEEN MADE IN THE STARVATION DEATH OF AN ANKENY DOG. A DEAD, EMACIATED DOG WAS BROUGHT TO THE SHELTER LAST WEEK. THEY REALIZED ANOTHER DOG WAS IN THE ANKENY HOME AND SAY THEY WERE ABLE TO SAVE THAT ANIMAL. TOWNSON IS NOW CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS OF ANIMAL NEGLECT.

The Animal Rescue League said Todd Townsend has been charged in the case. The ARL said a dead, emaciated dog was brought into the shelter last weekend. The ARL realized another dog was in the Ankeny home and said they were able to save him.Townsend is now charged with two c
