City Provides Update On Road Improvement Projects
SAN ANGELO, TX – The City of San Angelo issued an update on the multiple active street projects currently underway Thursday. Millions of dollars have been invested to improve infrastructure in the city.
Winter Storm URI Street Repairs
Repairs began on Jackson St. on May 26th and will continue to Executive Dr. and other areas of the city.
Southwest Blvd.
The $5.9 million project will take approximately take 2 and a half years to complete.
Currently, in phase 2 of 3, crews began working on the Southwest Blvd low water crossing near McDonald s.
Improvements to the area include installing conveyance structures, raising the roadway from 2.5 ft to 3 ft, and improve the channel from Southwest to the frontage road.
