Tityana Coppage is charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the shooting of 36-year-old Keith Lars. Sign up for our Newsletters Police said officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of Thompson Avenue after calls about shots fired in the area around 12:30 p.m. When they got to the scene, they found 23 shell casings from two different guns, but no victims. A short time later, officers were contacted by the Kansas City Fire Department, who said a crew was flagged down at Admiral Avenue and Virginia Boulevard by a person saying someone in their car had been shot.
