New Delhi, July 11 : Noting that India has many talented people, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday invited people and those doing exceptional work at the grassroots to nominate for Padma awards 2022.
The Padma awards are one of the highest civilian honours of India announced annually on the eve of Republic Day. The awards are given in three categories: Padma Vibhushan (for exceptional and distinguished service), Padma Bhushan (distinguished service of higher order) and Padma Shri (distinguished service).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday invited people and those doing exceptional work at the grassroots to nominate people for the People s Padma Awards .
The nominations for Padma awards 2022 are open till September 15.
PM Modi said that the country has a lot of talented people who are doing work at the grassroots but are not heard of or seen.
Taking to Twitter to invite people for making their nomination for the award, the Prime Minister said: India has many talented people, who are doing exceptional work at the grassroots.
