Tirupati: Panchayat Raj Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy slammed Chandrababu Naidu for stooping low and spreading false information on voting in the Tirupati bypoll.
Speaking to media here on Saturday, the Minister said being aware of TDP s poll prospects, Naidu has been spreading false information that bogus votes are being cast and all this is to create unrest in the constituency where elections were being conducted peacefully.
He said despite knowing the election process and how voters are allowed into polling booths, Naidu has been making false allegations on bogus voting and it clearly shows the mental condition of Naidu. He slammed yellow media for releasing a fake audio conversation of YSRCP leader and polling agent and said it had been recorded with dubbing artists.

TADEPALLI: The ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has written a letter to the Election Commission of India (ECI), to take action against the Telugu Desam Party President N Chandrababu Naidu, the opposition parties -BJP, Jana Sena and Congress party leaders for allegedly threatening voters and pilgrims in the Tirupati Parliamentary Constituency during the Tirupati by-polls held on April 17.
In a letter written by the YSRCP represented by State General Secretary Lella Appi Reddy, requested that the ECI take legal action against the above-mentioned Opposition parties for their high-handed behaviour with the pilgrims who were on their way to Tirumala for darshan. This was a pre-planned intention by them to divert the voters and obstruct the polling, the YSRCP stated in its letter.

TIRUPATI: Panchayat Raj Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy said TDP has conceded defeat and BJP has been trying to get more votes than NOTA in Tirupati bypoll.
Speaking to media at PLR Convention here on Thursday, the Minister said he had challenged Chandrababu Naidu that YSRCP MPs would resign in case the party loses in Tirupati and TDP MPs should quit otherwise and there is no response from Naidu and added that Naidu and Nara Lokesh doesn t have guts to reply for the challenge.
He said Naidu has played the drama of stone pelting, but no evidence was found in CCTV footage and TDP activist Akula Venkatesh said it was not stone, but shirt he threw on him. TIRUPATI: Asserting that the 22-month governance of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the trump card for the Tirupati by-poll, YSRCP has picked the TDP gauntlet to treat the election as a referendum. Speaking to media here on Sunday, Minister for Panchayat Raj Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy accepted the challenge of Chandrababu’s referendum saying that YSRCP MPs will resign in case the Party loses in Tirupati and asked Naidu whether his Party MPs will quit otherwise.

KAKINADA: Affirming that YSRCP win is a foregone conclusion, Agriculture Minister Kurasala Kannababu said Pawan Kalyan should question BJP on Special Status, privatisation of Visakha Steel Plant and promises made in AP Reorganisation Act.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, the Minister criticised Pawan Kalyan for not questioning his partner party BJP over the special status for Andhra Pradesh or privatisation of VSP. He objected to Pawan for supporting BJP who had once slammed the special package announced by BJP compared to rotten laddus. He flayed Pawan Kalyan for trying to whip up the Hindu sentiments by falsely alleging the State government of vandalizing the temples, although it was TDP who demolished over 40 temples in Vijayawada city during its regime.
