Test. Test. Test. Test. Test. And im not talking about doing better during that period of time. Im talking about in terms of moving up the economic ladder that actually if you square away someones housing situation, that thats the best way to situate them so that they can deal with their health, their education and whatever family problems they may need to contend. Like your thoughts in that area. My thought is that as i mentioned before, the things that we have been doing and the programs, theyre lifesaving. Theyre a safety net. Do i think we can do better . Absolutely. And do i think we should be spending a little more time and effort concentrating on developing the potential of our people . And the answer to that is yes, particularly in light of the fact that we have so many fewer people than our competitors and its going to be absolutely essential that we do that. One final question. I used to run a social Service Agency in honolulu and one of the things that we came to understand
Corporate tax reform, but before they can get to that Senate Majority leader Mitch Mcconnell said today Congress Needs to resolve health care reform. Listen. I think finishing on tax reform will take longer, but we do have to finish the Health Care Debate, up or down, win or lose, before we go to taxes. Theyre still trying to convince the Freedom Caucus . This was supposed to be the low hanging fruit and the promise of President Trumps progrowth policies coming to bear depends on what happens this thursday when House Republicans are set to vote on the American Health care act. President trump meeting with republicans at the white house this afternoon to discuss the bill further, having posted photos on instragram with Health Republicans this morning and the hash tag pa pass the bill. They say it is just business as usual trying to get a deal done. If the house passes something, ill bring it up and then well bring egin to work o in the senate and youll have lots of stories about various people lobbying for different parts of it and well try to move it across the floor next week. He said earlier
Devastate our Nations Health care system. The American People were promised by the president of the United States, who was so supportive of the bill that even. Entually took his own name his party and the bill would lower premiums by 2,500 per family, per year. He promised the American People that no family making less than 250,000 a year would see any form of tax increase when he became president. He promised the American People that obamacare would be more choice, more competition, and lower costs for millions of americans. Now seven years later, almost to the day, it is abundantly clear that this Affordable Care act, has failed acare, the American People and the Health Care System and the people it was designed to help the most. As to the promises, premiums have increased by an average of 25 this year alone on the obamaCare Exchanges.
