as you know, someone called from the bus, 911, and said there is a man onboard who claims he has a bomb. so that bus has been stopped in place. the s.w.a.t. teams surrounded it. they re making sure who each person is of course in that they don t have a weapon and are not related to this. eventually we ll get down to the person who made the statement that he had a bomb and we have to see if there is a device onboard or not. right now, you know, a hostage situation is where someone is being held, where someone is trying to get something for holding that person. right now it appears that everyone is being released. now we have to find out if this individual just made one of those stupid statements like is said at the airport where somebody says, ha, ha, what if i have a bomb in my suitcase, or if it s someone who is very serious about what they have with them. this bus was going from bangor, maine to new york city. the incident took place as we note in portsmouth, new hampshire.
