federal prosecutor, ellie honig. and the author of untouchable, how to get away with it. let s first listen to what tim said about the mar-a-lago documents case when i asked if he had ever seen a declassification lawyer, which the president s lawyers said initially after the mar-a-lago search warrant was executed. i never saw the order itself. that would not be something that we would have access to. if it was a written order as opposed to an oral order. what do you make of that? well, first of all, that was a really interesting and i think, nuanced interview. tim partilatore is a smart attorney. if there was an order written or verbal, he absolutely would have known about it as a defense lawyer.
one box of documents, or two or three documents here or there. the fact is, after this certification was made, the doy and fbi went in with a search warrant at mar-a-lago and they found 15 boxes. 100 plus classified documents. so there is still a major problem with trump s team a couple months before that saying we looked really hard, we ve done our diligence. that will remain a big issue for the team. hoere s how tim reacted durig the town hall when he was asked if he had shown them to anyone. look, it s different when you have a client that is talking. most of my clients, when the criminal investigation is going on, that s the only most important thing in their life and they don t talk to anybody except for me and their spouse. so it s always a little nerve-racking when you know he will be asked questions about it. but ultimately, i didn t think

boris epstein, who had really done everything he could to try to block us, to prevent us from e president, and ultimately, it got to a point where it s difficult enough fighting against d.o.j., in this case, special counsel. when you have people within the tent also trying to undermine you, block you, and really make it so that i can t do what i know i need to do as a lawyer, and when i am getting in the fights like that that is detracting from what is necessary to defend the client and ultimately was not in the client s best interests, i made the decision to withdraw. we asked trump s team for a response. a spokesman told me, mr. parlatore is no longer a member of the legal team. his statements regarding current members of the legal team are unfounded and categorically false. now, joining me to discuss more about what tim told me, cnn s legal analyst and former
