Garold Leggott says itâs kind of hard to think about, the fact that he will be stepping away from a banking career that spanned a lot of years and two different stints in York. âItâs hard to believe that Iâm doing this,â said Leggott who plans on retiring here at the end of December.
He had already stepped down as President of York State Bank back on April 1, when Mark Way assumed the position. Leggott had stayed on as Chairman of the Board through the balance of 2020 but he has decided itâs time.
