With the holiday season fast approaching, the South Dakota Better Business Bureau has tips on not getting scammed when buying your tickets online for concerts and events.
In the rush to find tickets to the Celtics championship games, some fans may try unfamiliar ticket brokers that can wind up being an expensive mistake.
"They said our tickets were invalid, our tickets had been sold twice," said Kelly Alliss. A spokesperson with the Iowa Events Center says concertgoers can be turned away due to purchasing a duplicate ticket from a reseller website.
