This film is not only set in Durham, N.C. but it s inspired by true events, according to IMDB. The story surrounds outspoken civil rights activist Ann Atwater, and the unlikely relationship she forms with C.P. Ellis, a local Ku Klux Klan leader. A tractor trailer carrying 45,000 lbs of pasta sauce overturned Monday evening on US-421 Southbound, in Randolph County near Liberty.
The incident started at 7:54 PM on Monday evening, shutting down the highway until 2:14 AM Tuesday morning, according to a report from the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
Unloading the truck s cargo and cleaning up debris from the accident is what caused the lengthy shutdown. As long as nobody was hurt that was alright with me, according to North Carolina State Trooper Burroughs.
No injuries were reported at the incident. As for what caused the tractor trailer to overturn, The driver of the tractor-trailer ran off the road and overcorrected losing control and then overturning along the median , said Trooper Burroughs.
