This weekend marks 25 years since Thurston High School student Kip Kinkel murdered his parents, then opened fire on classmates in a cafeteria the next day.
The Oregon Supreme Court Thursday denied Thurston High School shooter Kipland P. Kinkel’s petition challenging the state parole board’s refusal to grant him a murder review hearing after having now served almost 25 years in prison of a nearly 112-year sentence.
