Updated: 2:25 PM EDT Apr 30, 2021 WLKY Digital Team An animal cruelty investigation in McCraken County led to the arrest of a Kentucky man Thursday.On Wednesday, detectives with the McCracken County Sherriff’s Office received a tip of animal cruelty in McCracken County. The tipster alleged that David Howery was hoarding a large number of animals and neglecting them. Following the tip, detectives learned that Howery had an outstanding bench warrant from a previous animal cruelty conviction in Adair County, Kentucky. Detectives and McCracken County Animal Control went to speak to Howery and arrest him at his home on Broyles Avenue. During his arrest, officers said the conditions were uninhabitable.Officials say there were approximately 100 animals on the residence including dogs, cats, goats, chickens, pigs, and horses. More than 40 dogs were inside multiple buildings in cages. None of the kennels inside the residence had food or water, and there was no elect
