Our Correspondent Mokokchung, June 14 (EMN): After a month long theatre workshop held from May 16 till June 14, the workshop concluded with the premiering of the theatrical play ‘Oshi Yim’ at Town hall in Mokokchung on June 14. The theatre workshop was organised by Sangkeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi in collaboration with Hills Theatre and Department of Art & Culture, Mokokchung, Nagaland. Jadumani Singh, Director of Blooming Cultural Academy performing arts and award winning theatre practitioner, who was one of the resource persons spoke at the premier where he said that many people consider theatre, dance and music as entertainment but theatre is much more than that. He said that theatre can help preserve and display one’s culture and tradition.
