Environment Canada issued a heat warning Monday afternoon as temperatures are expected to reach or exceeding 29 degrees during the day, with 14 degrees overnight, throughout the week. This warning covers the City of Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Elk Island National Park, and parts of Parkland, Sturgeon, Yellowhead, Lac Ste. Anne, Lamont, Smoky Lake, Thorhild, Minburn and Two Hills counties.
