The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville is excited to announce the first Lakeland Campus Preview Day to be held on April 29 at Medulla Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida. This one-day event will provide information on all of the BCF programs coming to Central Florida as well as give potential students a chance to meet the Registrar, Academic Dean, Financial Aid Representatives, Admissions Counselors, Professors, and BCF President Thomas A. Kinchen.

Each semester, students, staff, and faculty at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville look forward to the open house event known as Preview Day. Many students and alumni fondly remember Preview Day because it was there that the Lord revealed to them that this is the college where they should pursue their education. In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, it was up in the air whether or not the event would be just online or on campus. After much prayer, the administration concluded that, “even if just one prospective student decided to come, it would still be worth it.” This year, the special event was held on March 8; not only did many prospective students show up for Preview Day, many made the decision to call BCF their college choice and initiated the application process.

Professor Kaye Johnson, Chair of the Teacher Education Division at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville, has recently completed all of the requirements necessary for her Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.
“I am delighted that Kaye Johnson has completed all of the requirements for her doctorate,” stated BCF President Thomas A. Kinchen. “When she came to work with us from the local school system, I had high expectations, and she has exceeded them. I am looking forward to many exciting developments in our Teacher Education programs under the leadership of Dr. Kaye Johnson.”
