Realtor planning hot pink makeover pays $1.9M for Broadway building
Vivi Gloriod is about to bring a splash of color to South Broadway.
The owner of Team Vivi, a group within residential brokerage HomeSmart Realty Group, last week purchased the newly renovated building at 26-28 S. Broadway.
“We’re going to paint the whole building hot pink,” Gloriod said, noting that and black are the two colors at the heart of her team’s branding.
Gloriod paid $1.9 million for the two-story building, according to public records. FirstBank provided financing for the deal. The structure is 6,132 square feet, according to property records, which makes the deal worth $309 a square foot. The building dates to 1936 and sits on a 0.07-acre lot.

Proto’s Pizzeria owner opening old-school bar in adjacent space along Platte

A new watering hole is coming to LoHi this spring, and its owner couldn’t be more excited.
Pam Proto knows the corner of 15th and Platte streets she’s been operating her Denver Proto’s Pizzeria Napoletana there for 17 years now. But the pizza restaurateur, who owns six Proto’s shops in the Denver and Boulder areas, has long wanted to change things up a little.
Proto decided to keep it simple and go old school.
“I’ve done pizza for a long time, and I’ve always said, someday I just want to have a bar,” Proto told BusinessDen. “Just an old-school bar where you come, hang out, doesn’t matter who you are, what you do, just come. The space became available last year next to my Denver Proto’s, and I jumped on it.”
