Alert that was a false alarm. Tonight police are questioning a person of interest who could explain everything. Good evening, everyone. Im carolyn johnson. Im dan ashley. Abc7 News Reporter alan wang is live at Police Headquarters with the latest on this strange story. Dan and carolyn, we believe police are questioning this man at opd headquarters tonight. This incident triggered an amber alert that had everyone in the state looking for a kidnapped child. Turns out there was no kidnapping and this was over a few stolen steaks and lobster. Police sources told abc7 news that this person of interest has been taken into custody, but they wont say if he is the suspect in the Surveillance Video.
