The Steelers have many an issue on offense with losses on the line, at wide receiver and running back. Running Back is particularly interesting. The Steelers were always known as a running team, but have ranked near the bottom the past couple of years, With James Conner’s contract expired, it would be surprising if the inspiring Pitt RB is back. Behind him is a group including Benny Snell Jr. and Anthony McFarland Jr. It seems like more players will be brought in to compete for the top job in the draft. They could also look at some valuable bargains in free agency. Should they find salary cap room to add, here is the list of available free agents should a Steel City Money Miracle occur.
Raiders have a bit of a mess on their hands. By RaiderCode on Feb 14, 2021, 11:01am PST +
There are so many issues to deal with this offseason. Raiders have roster issues on multiple levels. They haven t added enough young talent to this roster over the last 3 years. They have squandered so much draft capital. Seemingly wasted 4 of 5 first round picks on mediocre players. And 6 additional picks on wasted WR trades. And countless other bad picks like PJ Hall and Brandon Parker.
The offseason is going to be a tough one.
The cap is going down for the first time ever. No one knows by how much but it will affect the Raiders roster regardless. They went all-in the last 2 offseasons and made several big money FA signings, none of which worked out. They are currently $10M over the cap by the latest estimates of a $188M adjusted cap per Spotrac.
Irish America’s publisher, Niall O’Dowd, wrote from the Notre Dame vs. Navy football game in Dublin.
In years to come, hardcore Notre Dame fans will ask “Were you there?” when this Dublin game against Navy is discussed.
I predict it will be right up there with many of the great moments of this storied college. What a day to be both Irish and American.
If you were not proud of your heritage in Dublin on September 1, then you lack an emotional bone in your body.
I’m a sucker for two national anthems: the Irish and U.S. ones. Hearing them both played at the commencement of the Notre Dame/Navy football game at the astonishing Aviva Stadium in Dublin was a deeply emotional moment.

An NFL team once went two months without winning a game and still made the playoffs. The 2014 Panthers beat the Bears on Oct. 5 and tied the Bengals before losing six straight, leaving them 3-8-1 on Dec. 6. Thanks to a four-game win streak (and a terrible division), Carolina (19th on offense, 21st defensively) hosted a playoff game and won it. Of course, the Cardinals were on their third quarterback, Ryan Lindley, by then to set up one of the worst playoff matchups in NFL history. The Seahawks eliminated the Panthers, but Carolina won 17 of its next 18 games en route to Super Bowl 50.
