from the profiler s perspective, we want to find out so we can stop a person, somebody else from doing that in the future. but just as human beings, we don t ever want to accept that behavior as normal. you don t want to understand that evil, but as you say, the important point is, you want to figure out what motivates someone to walk into a church and do this and open fire on all these innocent people in order to stop it from happening once again. but just taking a breath and a moment to think about, clint, what you just said, that this guy may have walked into this church, opened fire, which person, excuse me, may have walked in and opened fire and killed every single person. and that is not confirmed, clint is just saying that, considering the scope of it all, but if, in fact, that s the case, that is just completely unbelievable. and we don t even necessarily know the timeline yet. we don t know if this person took their time, if this person walked in, had a conversation with peo
that s getting worse. that s another reason that he is seen clearly as most wanted now in both mexico and the united states. luke back to you. nbc mark potter, thank you so much. criminal profiler and author of the profiler pat brown joins us now to talk a little about this. thank you for being on the show. thanks luke. so he s done this before. he was on the lam for over a decade previously. somebody of this significance who has this large well-funded cartel presumably at his disposal where does one begin to search for an individual like this? well, he is obviously so well protected. he has so much money and so many people working for him, probably more than the government of mexico himself. he has quite an operation. it almost comes to the point where you hope somebody else will take him down outside of law enforcement. but law enforcement, yeah they re going to have to work obviously with really those
profiler. pat, thanks for being here. this is playing out for 16 months. the only links between the victims that police say they have is their alleged lifestyles which they were involved with drug use, some prostitution. so what are the clues investigators looking for to find a possible suspect or suspects? well, thomas the biggest problem is are these actually is this actually a serial killer? and a lot of times police don t want to admit to a serial killer unless there s something linking them like dna linking the victims, from the suspect. and then say three women from the dna of a same suspect or remember long island when you start finding bodies on the same side of the road one road then you got to say a serial killer is dumping the bodies here. can t be six different bad boyfriends going what a great spot to dump women. you have to have the connections. the problem here is they re not sure they re connected. they don t have a lot to say
